From Coventry Transport Museum Coventry on Sat to Much Wenlock a distance of 100mls, taking in some very stiff climbs

Stay overnight in town which is where the Modern Day Olympics started.—and take in the Evening activities in the Town—Stay the night, ( Acc not included in entry fee ) and return to Coventry on Sunday , via a shorter route but still very hilly approx 85 mls

Tom Sabin from Coventry, won the Cycling Events in the first 3 Modern Day Olympic Games.

Entry fee is £25-00, and Riders will receive a special Race Jersey –Pro Drinks Bottle and some Nutrition Product=--Medal –and Certificate—and detailed route sheet—certain sections will be signed—All overnight Equipment transferred F.O.C.     they may well be other extra free items nearer the date.

Max of 50 riders required—Last years trial event was featured on Midlands TV and Local Radio

History

M.I. Racing was formed in 1997 by Mick Ives, and has been one of the U.K.'s most successful Cycling racing Teams ever since. During that period, the Team has won over 1,000 races, all over the U.K. and mainland Europe.

The Team competes in all types of Cycle Racing; Road Racing, Track, Time Trials, Triathlons and Cyclo Cross. From January 1st to December 31st (unlike most teams, who only compete for about 6 months of the year).

The Teams youngest racing member is 16 years old, its oldest is 75 years old. We have 3 Triathletes who represented Great Britain in the last 2 seasons. We have a crack junior Squad of 4 riders. The top veteran road team in the UK and top veteran cross team in the UK.
